Currently working as Head of Early Years and Development Lead for a school in South London; Matt teaches full time across Reception and Nursery as well as running regular external training for EYFS teachers, senior leadership and parents in London Boroughs and beyond. He is also the founder of Future Mind Foundations. A teacher of 20 years, his biggest passion is helping young children to develop strong foundations in wellbeing, growth mindset and positive mental health. This is not just to equip all children with the necessary tools to cope when life's challenges inevitably come but also to empower them with the skills to be able to thrive well beyond that. Matt's current focus is on nationally supporting child practitioners and parents to see the importance and long-term impact of positive mental health, wellbeing and growth mindset education within the early years curriculum (and to provide them with the necessary tools and resources to help implement this).
