Helen Sutherland has worked in a diverse range of roles within the early years sector. Her career has led her to Kingston University where she is an Associate Professor in Early Years and Course Leader for the PGCE with Early Years Teacher Status. She has worked on a number of international projects supporting early years practitioners and teachers in England, Norway, Spain and Sweden to reflect on how they can develop their provision and practice. These projects have supported professional development, collaboration and exchange of knowledge and ideas to improve the quality of provision for young children.
