Ann Marie Christian is a safeguarding practitioner and manager with 3 decades of experience. She has worked in various roles and managed early years child protection teams, school based social workers, family support workers, she has been a safeguarding advisor to schools and childcare settings, a LADO and more. Ann Marie has independently supported hundreds of organizations and delivers keynotes, workshops, training, and consultancy. She is a Trustee of the 'Association of Child Protection Professionals' a popular CIC supporting safeguarding multi-agency professionals. She has written articles for various journals including Nursery World, Teach Early Years, Tapestry, Children and Young People Now, Pacey and Kinderly. Ann Marie is a regular keynote speaker and completed keynotes at Early Years Alliance, Child Care Expo, Laura Henry MBE Early Years Conferences, EY Matters and Early Years Summit. She has worked internationally supporting Early Childhood Education provisions since 2008. Ann Marie was 'Highly' commended and received an Award at the Win Trade Awards 2019 for 'Woman in the Public Sector' and nominated in 2018 & 2019 for the NSPCC Child Protection Trainer of the Year.
