Promoting anti-discriminatory practice in the early years

03 Feb 2024
Educator in practice Leader / Manager Reception Teacher

The revised EYFS framework states the need for practitioners to embed anti-discriminatory practice and ensure that every child is included and supported within their settings. This session will unpick what is meant by anti-discrimination and consider how our often hidden cultural norms might be reproducing the issues that we seek to challenge. It will also offer strategies to promote anti-discriminatory practice in settings through the value of critical reflection.
