A recent survey of Nursery World readers highlighted the importance not only of holding the Nursery World Show in the North, but also of venue location. The Exhibition Centre in Liverpool is ideally suited to meet these criteria and will provide all visitors and exhibitors with an accessible, modern, adaptable venue for Nursery World NORTH 2018.

Arrive by land, air, or sea. Two international airports, 20 minutes from the UK motorway network, and closer still to trains and ferries, Exhibition Centre Liverpool is a venue that’s easy to reach by all modes of transport. For sat nav, use the postcode L3 4BX.

Exhibition Centre Liverpool is a short taxi or bus ride away from Liverpool Lime Street station and its direct services to London that take little over two hours. Regional and local rail connections are even closer.

Many bus routes serve the bus station at the Liverpool ONE retail development, just a five-minute walk from Exhibition Centre Liverpool. For door-to-door service, we offer drop-off areas and dedicated coach parking.

Less than 20 minutes from the UK motorway network and adjacent to Liverpool’s main through road, Exhibition Centre Liverpool is perfectly placed if arriving by car.

From the Wirral, Wales and the M53, leave the M53 motorway at Junction 3 signposted Birkenhead and take the A552 for the Birkenhead (Queensway) Tunnel and Liverpool City Centre.

Follow signs for the Waterfront. The Liverpool Waterfront Car Park is signposted 'Waterfront' on the city wide 'available spaces' signage.

Approaching from the south, leave the M6 at junction 21A and take the M62 to Liverpool.

Continue to the end of the M62 and follow signs for Liverpool City Centre, this will take you along Edge Lane.

Follow signs for the Waterfront. The Liverpool Waterfront Car Park is signposted 'Waterfront' on the city wide 'available spaces' signage.

Approaching from the north, leave the M6 at junction 26, following signs for the M58 Liverpool.

Drive to the end of M58 and then follow signs for A59 Liverpool.

Continue to follow Liverpool City Centre until picking up signs for the Waterfront.

There are a number of secure, inexpensive car parking options available for visitors to Exhibition Centre Liverpool. The Liverpool Waterfront Car Park is signposted “Waterfront” on the city-wide “available parking spaces” signage. They usually offer live updates as to the number of available spaces.

There is a 2.1m maximum vehicle height for Liverpool Waterfront Car Park.

Liverpool’s wide, waterfront boulevards and pedestrian areas make walking or cycling to Exhibition Centre Liverpool safe and enjoyable.

A number of cycle routes enable cyclists to get around Liverpool and visit Exhibition Centre Liverpool by bicycle. You can find out more about the routes available from Liverpool City Council’s website. You can take your bike for free on ferries and trains in Merseyside, though remember it's busy in peak hours. Most stations have free, secure cycle storage too. At Exhibition Centre Liverpool cyclists are provided with secure cycle parking, located in the Liverpool Waterfront Car Park.

Citybike, run by Liverpool City Council is the largest public bicycle scheme outside of London, launched in May 2014 and is set to offer over 100 stations within the first twelve months. Tariff packages available from £3 per day, stations are available at Lime Street as well as across the city centre and waterfront areas.

Walking in Liverpool city centre is an enjoyable experience. It is the best way to experience the city, with great views of the architecture and meeting the friendly people of Liverpool. Pedestrianised areas around Liverpool ONE link to the wide Waterfront boulevard, the docks and Exhibition Centre Liverpool.

Liverpool John Lennon Airport (JLA) is one of the UK’s top 10 busiest airports features flights to approximately 75 destinations in the UK and across Europe.

Airlines at JLA include two of Europe’s largest low cost airlines, easyJet and Ryanair, both of which have large bases at JLA. A taxi from the airport to the city centre will take approximately 20 minutes or the express bus service Route 500 will take roughly 25 minutes, dropping you off within a five minute walk of Exhibition Centre Liverpool.
