The Autism Education Trust is funded by the Department for Education to build capacity across the education system for children and young people with autism.
Working through its regional delivery partners, AET provides national practice standards, practitioner competency frameworks and a range of training programmes to support education settings and staff in understanding and responding to the needs of autistic young people in the early years, school and post 16 phases.
Employing a practical application of current research, AET has a strong commitment to providing high quality, values driven and good value for money supports.
Since 20112 AET has trained 130,000 people and is increasingly regarded as the natural source of support to both education settings and practitioners.
